CITROEN

Audi A4

Citroen is a well recognised and respected French automobile manufacturer, founded in March
2019 by Andre Citroën. Inspired by Henry Ford’s methods of mass production, André Citroën
wanted to produce economical, affordable cars for the European market.

The first car that Citroën produced was the Citroën Type A, which rolled off production lines in
1919 and saw huge success in 1920 with more than 20,000 vehicles being sold (a lot at the
time!)

Citroën soon built a reputation for bold and innovative designs, and the Citroën Traction Avant
launched in 1934 as the world’s first mass-produced front-wheel drive car. The Citroën 2CV was
another huge success story, launching in 1948 to critical acclaim. The 2CV continued being
produced right up until 1990, and there are still many 2CV fans across the world to this day!

From a business perspective, Citroën has had its fair share of ups and downs over the last
century, and a number of mergers and acquisitions – with the company now being fully owned by
Stellantis.

If we fast forward to today, Citroën holds around a 1% share of the global car market by revenue
– selling more than 750,000 vehicles worldwide in over 90 different countries during 2021.

The current Citroën lineup in the UK includes a variety of models designed with family life in
mind, including hatchbacks, Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), and Multi Purpose Vehicles (MPVs)
For city driving, the fully-electric Ami has recently replaced their previous C1 model and has
been met with a great reception, winning a Marie Claire Sustainability Award and ‘Microcar of
the Year” by GQ

The Citroën C3 is also a standout as an excellent run-around vehicle that’s fun to drive and
inexpensive to own – with a step up being the C4 hatchback, which also comes in a fully electric
version, the ë-C4.

For those interested in SUVs, Citroën offers the C3 Aircross and the larger C5 Aircross. Or for
those needing more space, Citroën’s MPV models such as the SpaceTourer, provide ample
room for the whole family.

At Flipit, we make it easy to sell your Citroën.

To get the process started, all you need to do is tell us about your car – your registration, your

you through things and put your mind at ease.

Once you’re happy with the valuation and the selling process, one of our Collection team will
visit your home and do a quick inspection of your Citroën.

As long as everything aligns with what you told us at the start of the process, we’ll finalise the
paperwork for the valuation, arrange payment to your bank account, and take your car away as
soon as the money has cleared. It’s really that simple!

1. Tell us about your car.

We need a few details about your car to give you a fair offer. Stuff like whether there are any dents or scratches, and what condition it’s in.

Don’t worry, it’s all clearly described. And if you’re not sure, you’ll always find us at the end of a phone for a helping hand!
