There are also two plug-in hybrid versions of the E-Class, with the E300e being the petrol hybrid offering and the E300de having a hybrid diesel powertrain.

The E-Class holds a lot of industry accolades – being crowned the ‘Large Company Car of the Year’ by Auto Express, and getting named as the MotorTrend Car of the Year in 2021.

The interior of the E-Class is where it really sets itself apart from the competition, with luxurious seating designed for comfort and minimal noise. The car has two widescreen dashboard panels – one for car instruments and the other for infotainment. And from a safety perspective, the E-Class received a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.
